Personal. Practical. Spiritual.
Practical spirituality is…
…an approach to everyday life through the rich lens of spiritual practices.
…or, maybe it’s an approach to spirituality through the divinely mundane happenings of everyday life.
…it’s the integration of spiritual practices and beliefs into our everyday lives.
It is a way of cultivating a deeper connection with oneself, others, and the world around us by applying spiritual principles in practical and tangible ways. Practical spirituality involves developing a personal relationship with one's spirituality and finding ways to live out one's values and beliefs in a meaningful and authentic way.
It is a flexible and adaptable approach that can encompass a wide range of spiritual practices, including meditation, prayer, mindfulness, self-reflection, service to others, singing, dancing, discussing, cooking, sex, and just about anything that helps you get centered in yourself. The goal of practical spirituality is not just to have a theoretical understanding of spiritual concepts, but to actively live them out in our daily lives.
